String Technologies for the Development of Arctic Transportation Infrastructure

The scientific paper by Anatoli Unitsky and his co-author presents an innovative transportation solution for the northern territories of Russia.

The report was presented at the international conference "Youth Science in the 21st Century: Traditions, Innovations, Development vectors.”

The article says that the development of the Arctic region requires the introduction of a new transportation system that eliminates the disadvantages of conventional means of travel. Among the innovative solutions, uST Transport & Infrastructure Complexes developed by Anatoli Unitsky stand out. They are designed for cargo and passenger transportation by high-speed electric cars of large carrying and load capacity (uPods). Compared to conventional transportation systems, uST complexes offer a high level of safety, efficiency and environmental friendliness, and are easily integrated into the environment.

The authors emphasize that one of the ways of global reorganization of the Arctic transport and infrastructure system could be the project of the Northern Sea Route land duplicate based on uST technology. This will make it possible to efficiently and rationally use the geographical advantages of the area, and also to rule out problems associated with its climatic peculiarities.

The implementation of uST complexes will not only help develop the transit potential of the Arctic region, but will also integrate Russia into the world transportation chains, increasing the cargo and passenger flow through its territory.
